Shipping Terms & Conditions
All orders will ship via UPS on Monday. Orders placed Tuesday through Sunday will ship that coming Monday. Any orders placed on a Monday will be shipped the following Monday. If a Monday falls on a holiday, orders will shipped on Tuesday for 2 and 3 day ground shipments only.
To ensure your order arrives in wholesome condition, your beef will be shipped in a reusable styrofoam container with dry ice. It is normal for the dry ice to have dissipated during shipping. If any dry ice remains, use protective gloves to handle it and allow it to dissipate outside on its own. Avoid contact with bare skin.
Your beef should arrive partially frozen or cool to the touch at time of arrival. Place beef into the freezer immediately upon receipt and inspection. If your beef is not cool to the touch or you feel that your order has been compromised in anyway, please call us right away at (785) 313-4748.
You will receive an email when your order has shipped that contains a tracking number and an estimated date of arrival. The billing customer is responsible for ensuring that the recipient will be available for delivery. It is highly recommended you monitor the package to ensure that it can be received by you or your designated recipient upon arrival. All shipments are sent with a “No signature release/ No signature required” selection to ensure your shipment is not delayed. All shipments require a street address as we unfortunately cannot deliver to P.O. boxes. It is the customer's responsibility to make sure that the shipping address provided is correct. We currently only deliver to the continental United States.
Mushrush Family Meats is not responsible for damage to the products if recipient is not available to accept the shipment at time of delivery or if shipment delivery time is delayed due to circumstances out of our control (i.e. UPS Train derailment, etc). Damage to the products due to an incorrect or incomplete address voids our customer satisfaction promise.
Shipping & Handling Cost:
The cost of shipping and handling per box is $35. The maximum weight of beef packed per box is 30lbs. If multiple boxes are needed to ship your order, the price listed above is per box, not per order. To make the most out of your shipping dollars, fill the box! It costs the same to ship 5 lbs as it does 30 lbs, so stock up!
Beef Jerky and Beef Snack Sticks: If your order only contains Beef Jerky and/or Beef Snack Sticks, it will ship via USPS within 2 business days for a flat rate of $6.95.

Local Pick-up on the Ranch
If you live close to us or are traveling through the Strong City, Kansas area and would like to pick up your beef on the ranch instead of paying shipping, we gladly offer this option. During checkout when prompted to enter your credit card information, please enter what day and approximately what time you would like to pick up your beef in the special instructions box. Kindly allow at least 24 hours notice for requested pick up. We will contact you via phone to confirm pick up arrangements.
Pick up at Manhattan’s Farmers Market
During the months of June, July and August we attend the Saturday Farmer’s market in Manhattan, Kansas. If you would like to place your order ahead of time, select this option in lieu of shipping BEFORE Friday at noon, we will bring your order to our booth at the Farmer’s market Saturday we attend. During checkout when prompted to enter your credit card information, please enter what Saturday (month and day) and approximately what time you will pick up your beef in the special instructions box. We will contact you via phone to confirm we will be attending the farmers market that Saturday and finalize pick up arrangements. Please note due to our responsibilities on the ranch, we attend the Farmer’s market as much as our schedule allows, but we cannot guarantee pick up will be available every Saturday.
